Destroy Vibrations
Vibrations Destroy Performance. It's Time to Destroy Vibrations

Passionate about Improvement.

History

As a young helicopter Crew Chief (mechanic) in the US Air Force, our Founder, Mr. Norman Serrano discovered that helicopter vibrations increasingly worsened prior to breaking down. Through creating a process to dynamically balance spinning subsystems within the helicopter platform, including the main rotor and tail rotor systems, Mr. Serrano reduced maintenance time from weeks down to hours.

As a result of his research and efforts, his unit quickly attained 100 percent operational readiness, achieving 2,500 flight hours with no mission cancellations.  The success of his unit drew the attention of one of the pioneers of the balancing industry, Mr. Jim Chadwick, who recruited Mr. Serrano to be one of Chadwick-Helmuth's lead Applications Engineers.

For various reasons, Mr. Serrano felt the helicopter industry was on the wrong path in trying to resolve their inherent vibration issues and he decided to become an independent consultant so he could conduct the research and development he believed would solve the underlying challenges the industry faced both then and today.

After thousands of hours of R&D, he  successfully developed the Vibration Intelligent Balance Solution (VIBS, pronounced as vibes) technology. Since then IVT has been able to apply the VIBS technology to almost anything that spins in other industries, including Aviation, NASCAR, Transportation, Green Energy and much more.
